Monday March 22nd 2010, Petites-Mains welcomed a France-Québec delegation from the OFQJ during their stay in Canada on the theme: "Regards croisés sur les discriminations".
A group of twenty persons , mostly
students in Political Science,
teachers and researchers, met at Petites-Mains in order to discuss
discrimination at work. After having visited the organization and
heard a presentation on
our mission, a debate took place in order to share visions on the
topic.
Christopher Mc All, Montréal’s Center of Research ‘s director on social disparities and discriminations, hosted this debate.
Women in the "Femmes et métiers"
program and those in the "A la découverte de nouveaux métiers" program
joined the group in order to share their own experience. This
workshop allowed the students, the teachers and the women
from our organization to share their viewpoints in order to continue this debate on discrimination.
