With these portraits, the photographers want to show the courage
these women at our organization have. The pictures are divided into two
series. The first photo shoot took place at a studio
set up at Petites-Mains. This series of portraits tries to reveal
these women’s beauty. On a white background, each woman
followed the two photographers ‘ recommendations. The simplicity in these
pictures underlines the extreme elegance these women have.

The second series of photos was shot at Petites-Mains.
The sewing workshop, the classrooms, the stockroom, the halls,
the lift, the screen-printing workshop, are all places that represent
the programs offered at Petites-Mains. These different spaces
witness these women’s social and professionnal integration .

This collaboration highlights the opening of a cultural space here at
Petites-Mains , dedicated to themes like immigration, multiculturalism,
diversity and women. This space’s vocation is to help women at our
organization to get familiar with the arts, to make the public more aware
of our mission and the cultural diversity, allowing these different types of
public to meet and share together.
