At PETITES-MAINS, all the activities respect an ethical philosophy, that is, the respect of human rights, natural resources and the environment. They are also aimed at the equality of the chances to the rights to work and the conditions respecting the individual.

The programs

All programs offered at Petites-Mains have the same mission : the social and professional integration of all participants. In order to make people more aware of discrimination and exploitation, our programs offer sessions on the rights at work..Therefore, each participant gets the necessary information on the obligations and the rights of employees in a working environment.

Production

By offering a paid training, and a follow-up once at work, Petites-Mains offers healthy working conditions and the profits are then for both producers and employers. It is a very human procedure that allows participants to grow on both personal and professional levels . This way, the organization fights also against discrimination and exploitation a lot of workers in the world must face. Petites-Mains’ products are thus made in a fair-trade and ethical way and are the answer to social merchandizing in a solidarity concern.

Resources

Petites-Mains is concerned by the environment. Each resource is used in the most economical way in order to avoid unnecessary waste. Some of the waste is then used again or exploited in the chain of production. Petites-Mains proposes also a selection of natural fabrics and is now developping a production project of products made of biological and fair-trade materials from Africa.
